Coco Peat
Coco-Coir ( in various fractions ) is obtained from coconut husks and is available in various fractions. Coconut husks originate from countries like India, Sri Lanka and the Dominican Republic. It is a relatively young material, which means it is capable of very quick water absorption. Even if the mixture has become extremely dry, the Coco-Coir will still be able to quickly absorb moisture. Substrates containing Coco-Coir maintain their water absorption qualities and are able to drain the water rapidly, ensuring adequate moisture distribution inside the pot.
